Why Kae
I’m a software executive, author, and speaker with over 30 years of experience in industries where I was often the only woman and the only person of color in the room.

I know firsthand what it feels like to (finally) have a seat at the table but still feel unseen. I know what it means to navigate systems that were never built with me in mind. Over the years, I have learned to thrive in these spaces, to lead in them, to influence decisions even when outnumbered, and command a room without compromising who I am. I’ve built credibility quickly and worked through bias to foster alignment and collaboration.

Throughout my career, I’ve led marketing teams, helped companies scale to acquisition, and mentored many women as they carved their own paths. I share real stories, lessons learned the hard way, and the strategies I used to build a successful career.

When I speak, I address how bias shows up in the workplace — in conversations, decisions, and opportunities — and provide women (and the leaders who support them) with practical language, tools, and strategies to respond confidently.

My mission is to bring the unspoken challenges women and minorities face into the light — because we can’t change what we don’t talk about. I sincerely believe that when barriers are removed for women, everyone benefits.

I want audiences to walk away equipped with clarity, armed with confidence, and supported by actionable strategies they can put into immediate practice.
